/ House of Social / Manchester
/ The Brief
Renowned developer Vita Group is set to transform student living in Manchester with its innovative House of Social development. House of Social combines 576 rooms over 13 floors in design-led, shared apartments, with city-living amenities such as a food hall, fitness and wellbeing facilities. Having previously provided bespoke joinery services for the Vita Group, Hurst was commissioned to design and install a variety of high quality joinery features across the amenity spaces spanning two floors. Adhering to the programme schedule was vital to guarantee the facility’s readiness for September 2025.
/ The Result
Hurst delivered a comprehensive joinery package for the social areas, combining design and installation across the public ground floor food court, including a large bar and multiple food kiosks, as well as the mezzanine with private student bar and private dining.
The project was successfully delivered on time, allowing the complex to welcome students for the start of the academic term. The project adds to Hurst’s growing portfolio of prominent student accommodation and leisure developments and strengthens its ongoing partnerships with leading developers nationwide.
