/ The Brief
Tide Construction was engaged by Vita Student to construct a 35-storey building, housing 758 student rooms alongside the iconic Lewisham line, as part of the area’s ongoing regeneration endeavour. The building, designed to be a hub of inspiration, features private study areas, social spaces, a spacious gym, and private dining rooms with kitchens. Following a commendation from the Vita Group for its prior bespoke joinery services, Hurst was enlisted by Tide Construction to fashion and fit bespoke joinery for the amenity spaces across the building’s initial two floors. Ensuring timely completion before the new academic intake in September was crucial.

Hurst helped to deliver quality accommodation and inspirational spaces for students to enjoy in the agreed timescales. Due to the successful delivery of this project, the team have again been appointed to provide the joinery elements for Vita Student’s latest student accommodation development in Cardiff.
