Bespoke Joinery for Grade A Office Space

The Brief

Hurst Joinery Projects were appointed to deliver a bespoke joinery package as part of the transformation of an existing building into over 30,000 sqft of high specification, Grade A serviced office space.

This marked the third collaboration between Hurst and the HACS Group, following successful projects at Yorkshire Cancer Research and the Police Treatment Centre.

The Result

Hurst’s responsiveness and reliability, during both manufacture and installation, ensured the joinery was delivered in line with the client’s programme and high design standards. The joinery elements contributed significantly to the overall finish and character of the space, reflecting the client’s vision for a premium office environment.

The client was extremely satisfied with the end result, praising Hurst’s expertise, quality of product and collaborative approach throughout the process.

Project Challenges

Hurst were tasked with delivering bespoke joinery across multiple floors, with each space serving a different function and requiring its own design approach. A high standard of finish had to be maintained across all areas of the building.

Installation required thorough planning and flexibility to coordinate effectively with other trades. Due to the site’s location off a busy main road, deliveries were carefully managed to limit disruption.

The Solution

Hurst worked closely with the client and design team from the early stages, providing technical input and design expertise throughout the tender and scheme development process.

Joinery elements, including wall panelling, cupboards, banquette seating, teapoints and planters were designed to enhance the reception, communal areas, boardrooms and co-working spaces, combining style with practical functionality.
